Making A Purchase

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement detailing the products you have ordered.
Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. We will send a dispatch confirmation by email. When we dispatch your order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

The Beanbag Company warrants that the goods will be of satisfactory quality and fit for their general purpose. All representations as to performance of the goods relate to their performance in normal conditions and when used correctly.
Pricing
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT.
The Beanbag Company reserves the right, by giving notice to the customer at any time before delivery, to increase the price of the goods to reflect any increase in the cost to The Beanbag Company which is due to any factor beyond its control, including but without limitation any increase in costs due to market fluctuations, any change in delivery dates, quantities or specification for the goods which is requested by the customer or failure of the customer to give The Beanbag Company adequate information or instructions.
Delivery + Risk
Delivery shall occur when the company or its carrier arrive at the address given to the company at the time of the order. Every effort will be made by the company to deliver goods within the period specified by the company, however such dates will not constitute part of the contract.
The Beanbag Company can accept no responsibility in the event that goods are left as instructed by you without your presence at the time of delivery.
If you fail to accept delivery of goods when delivered the company reserves the right to attempt delivery of the goods at a later date and to invoice you a further delivery charge.
Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to you upon delivery.
Delivery will only be made to the same address as the registered owner of any credit/debit card used for payment.
We will send you an email confirmation prior to delivery of your order to advise you of the anticipated delivery date. If no one will be available to take delivery of your order on the advised delivery date you must contact us within 24 hours by email so we can make alternative arrangements and to ensure you will avoid any unnecessary failed delivery and re-delivery charges.
Cancellation + Return
If you wish to cancel your order: a) you can notify us by email to cancellation@thebeanbagcompany.com before we have dispatched the goods to you: or b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with the clause below:
Goods may be returned to us for refund for a period of up to 28 days from the date of dispatch. this is subject to the product being returned in a re-saleable condition and the payment of carriage costs and a re-stocking fee of £25.00
If the goods supplied are faulty or not as per your order, as long as we are notified within 28 days of dispatch, we shall not charge a re-stocking fee and will refund all reasonable carriage costs (restricted to a maximum of £20.00) incurred upon proof of payment.
Goods may not be returned without prior written authorisation from The Beanbag Company. Please notify us your wish to return the goods by email to returns@thebeanbagcompany.com .
We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Proof of despatch by you does not prove receipt of delivery by us. Note that you be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error.
Goods produced to a bespoke specified design or colour are non returnable.
Your statutory rights under English Law are not affected in any way.
Cancellation By The Beanbag Company
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if: a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; b) we do not deliver to your specified delivery address; or c) one or more of the goods you have ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and we will re-credit your account with any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.
Damaged Goods
Any damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us by email to damaged@thebeanbagcompany.com within 4 working days of receipt otherwise no liability will be accepted.
